O, Beauty of the Night!
Sophia glanced upon me from behind her veil.
What gaze alit my soul!
The love of Sophia in the East,
May I tip you for your beauty?
How can I take so freely what I have seen?
And yet I take nothing but darkness.
Black, neither harsh nor cruel;
Kind and compassionate, she smiles upon me from a dark but silken veil.
Tip? That would be nice.
